Law Professor With Schizophrenia Endows Institute

Elyn Saks, J.D., a professor of law at the University of Southern California and an individual with schizophrenia, has received a $500,000 MacArthur Foundation genius award, according to the October 23 New York Times. Saks has used her award money to establish the Saks Institute for Mental Health Law, Policy, and Ethics at the University of Southern California.
