Paper and online election ballots were sent to all APA voting members on January 2 allowing them to decide who the next president-elect and other Board of Trustees representatives will be. Voting members who have a valid e-mail address on file with APA were sent their ballot by e-mail; those who do not will receive a mailed paper ballot within the next few days. To see the list of candidates and links to their personal websites, click [here](http://www.psych.org/network/board-of-trustees/apa-national-elections). Those who wish to campaign on behalf of a candidate are urged to review the APA election guidelines, which are posted [here](http://psychnews.psychiatryonline.org/newsArticle.aspx?articleid=1754317). Members who do not receive a ballot should send an e-mail requesting a replacement paper ballot by January 23 to [election@psych.org](mailto:election@psych.org).

 APA is also encouraging psychiatrists who are not members to join the Association and have their voices heard on important issues facing the profession and the patients they treat.
