Creative Individuals May Be Cyclothymic

Students pursuing artistic careers scored higher on the cyclothymic dimension of bipolar disorder than did students pursuing other types of careers, a study published in the December Journal of Affective Disorders has found.  In addition to findings from this study, other evidence suggests a link between mental illness and creativity.
