Petition candidates have until Novermber 15 to submit their petitions. Voting will begin January 2 when all members for whom APA has a valid e-mail address on file will receive an electronic ballot. Other members will receive a paper ballot. Voting ends at 5 p.m. Eastern time on January 31. More information on the election process is posted in the "Election" section of APA's Web site ([www.psychiatry.org](http://www.psychiatry.org/)) under the Board of Trustees tab. The slate is considered to be public, but not official, until the Board of Trustees approves it at its December meeting.
